MATTHEW

11:25 At that time Jesus declared, “I thank you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that you have hidden these things from the wise and understanding and revealed them to little children;

11:27 All things have been handed over to me by my Father, and no one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and anyone to whom the Son chooses to reveal him.

13:11 And he answered them, “To you it has been given to know the secrets of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it has not been given.

16:17 And Jesus answered him, “Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah! For flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but my Father who is in heaven.

22:14 For many are called, but few are chosen.”

24:22 And if those days had not been cut short, no human being would be saved. But for the sake of the elect those days will be cut short.

24:24 For false christs and false prophets will arise and perform great signs and wonders, so as to lead astray, if possible, even the elect.

24:31 And he will send out his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

25:34 Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.

MARK

13:20 And if the Lord had not cut short the days, no human being would be saved. But for the sake of the elect, whom he chose, he shortened the days.

13:22 For false christs and false prophets will arise and perform signs and wonders, to lead astray, if possible, the elect.

Can he enter a second time into his mother’s womb and be born?” 5 Jesus answered, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. 6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. 7 Do not marvel that I said to you, ‘You must be born again.’ 8 The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear its sound, but you do not know where it comes from or where it goes. So it is with everyone who is born of the Spirit.”

6:37 All that the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never cast out. 38 For I have come down from heaven, not to do my own will but the will of him who sent me. 39 And this is the will of him who sent me, that I should lose nothing of all that he has given me, but raise it up on the last day.

6:44 No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him. And I will raise him up on the last day.

6:65 And he said, “This is why I told you that no one can come to me unless it is granted him by the Father.”

10:29 My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all, and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father’s hand.

17:24 Father, I desire that they also, whom you have given me, may be with me where I am, to see my glory that you have given me because you loved me before the foundation of the world.

17:25 O righteous Father, even though the world does not know you, I know you, and these know that you have sent me.

ACTS

2:39 For the promise is for you and for your children and for all who are far off, everyone whom the Lord our God calls to himself.”

ROMANS

1:6 including you who are called to belong to Jesus Christ,

8:28 And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.

8:29 For those whom he foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, in order that he might be the firstborn among many brothers.

8:30 And those whom he predestined he also called, and those whom he called he also justified, and those whom he justified he also glorified.

8:33 Who shall bring any charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies.

9:11 though they were not yet born and had done nothing either good or bad—in order that God’s purpose of election might continue, not because of works but because of him who calls—

9:16 So then it depends not on human will or exertion, [2] but on God, who has mercy.

9:18 So then he has mercy on whomever he wills, and he hardens whomever he wills.

9:22-24 What if God, desiring to show his wrath and to make known his power, has endured with much patience vessels of wrath prepared for destruction, in order to make known the riches of his glory for vessels of mercy, which he has prepared beforehand for glory— even us whom he has called, not from the Jews only but also from the Gentiles?

11:1 God has not rejected his people whom he foreknew. Do you not know what the Scripture says of Elijah, how he appeals to God against Israel?

11:4–5 But what is God’s reply to him? “I have kept for myself seven thousand men who have not bowed the knee to Baal.” So too at the present time there is a remnant, chosen by grace.

11:7 What then? Israel failed to obtain what it was seeking. The elect obtained it, but the rest were hardened,

11:28 As regards the gospel, they are enemies of God for your sake. But as regards election, they are beloved for the sake of their forefathers.
